My Letter

This is a Letter that was handed out to the parents and kids who came to Saturday Stars or Siblings in the Spotlight.

Kids and Parents

Hi! Kathleen and I really want to introduce you to MTRF Siblings! Since the meeting was geared more towards the older kids, we wanted to share some of its info with the younger kids and their families.

  • Blog
    • We have a blog! e post advice, stories, and more!
    • We encourage everyone to read it or have a parent read it to them because I have probably already experienced any problem they may have
    • We also encourage the little kids to send us letter (a parent can write) or picture they drew!
  • Website
    • The website is more for info purposes, but there are a few thing you should check out
    • We have an advice column where we answer YOUR questions! Parents or kids with questions can email us at juliamswis@gmail.com
    • We also have a photo gallery where Saturday Stars pictures, pictures from our Siblings in the Spotlight  meetings, or picture you send us! email pictures to the same email above
  • The Meeting
    • We plan on hosting another meeting for the younger kids (date and info unknown)
    • this meeting deals with the issues of older siblings, however may be relevant to younger kids so feel free to stop in!

Thank you for all the emails and support! We hop you continue to read, send, and post!

Context

Since the Summer I've been trying to wear context. I've been wearing glasses since I was 2 years old. My mom and dad think that it's try to get context. A few weeks ago I went to the eye doctor for my appointment. My dad was talking to the Doctor about getting them. I had to watch a video it was about how to get them in and out. After I watched the video it was time to try and get them in.

It took at least 4 appointments. Then when I came the forth time I finally got them both in. I was so happy that they were in. I didn't wear them at school but after school I put them in everyday. I'm staring to like them more and more. I'm still not wearing them at school because I"m afraid if they will fall out. Soon maybe I'll wear them at school but I'm sure when. I guess once I get used to them maybe I will wear them at school.
